    • Dilworth -- This neighborhood, which is full of traditional bungalow homes, was Charlotte's first streetcar suburb. Dilworth is located only a few miles south of Uptown. Its main thoroughfare, East Boulevard, is full of chic restaurants and trendy boutiques. Town homes and condos have been built just off of the boulevard. With all it has to offer, it's no wonder Dilworth was voted Best Neighborhood by the readers of Charlotte Magazine and is a highly sought after neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina.
    • Myers Park -- Many people regard Myers Park as one of the most prestigious places to live in Charlotte, because of its streets lined with old oaks and southern estate homes. The Myers Park neighborhood, only a few blocks from Uptown, is full of historic homes, churches and buildings. The average listing price of homes in this neighborhood is just under $900,000, making it one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Charlotte, North Carolina. If you can afford it, it's one of the best areas to live in the city.
    • Plaza Midwood -- Located just northeast of downtown, this area is known to many as one of Charlotte's most eclectic and and diverse neighborhoods. The tree-lined streets of Plaza Midwood lead to a thriving business district with a unique collection of shops and restaurants. The western portion of the Plaza Midwood neighborhood was designated as a local historic district in the early 1990s. This neighborhood offers home buyers turn of the century bungalows, many of which have been restored to their original condition.
